Services

The Kado Pet Foundation provides lifetime care for animal companions living with low income seniors or people with serious medical issues so that they don't have to surrender their pets.  It is our belief that the best situation possible is to keep these pets in the loving homes that they already have and to keep them from having to go to a shelter or worse.

At Kado, we provide:

  • Complete veterinary services from routine exams,  vaccinations, spaying/neutering, illnesses, injuries or  any other medical issue that may arise;
  • Assistance with adoption to qualified individuals who want to have an animal companion;
  • Food, supplements, litter, toys, treats and any pet assistance necessary.
.

Please see chart in next column.

In order to qualify for the Kado Pet Foundations lifetime care program, you must be 200% or below of the poverty guideline level for 2017.

Additionally you must be either a senior age 60 or above or have a permanent hardship situation.

Usually this is due to permanent medical condition(s).
